█ The Mission
LulzSec lasted 50 days. The ideas lasted forever.
lulz-sec.com exists to document the history, honor the people who paid for it, and carry the mission forward — legally. We are a tribute, an archive, an intelligence feed, a transparency tool, and a community. In that order.
The internet still needs people laughing at power. We just do it without breaking any laws.
"You cannot arrest an idea." — Topiary, final tweet, 2011
█ What We Are

►
A FOIA resource — tools, templates, and guides for exercising your right to government transparency
►
An educational platform — ethical hacking, bug bounties, certifications, and career resources
►
A community — for people who remember 2011, and people who wish they did
█ What We Are Not
✗
Not affiliated with the original LulzSec hacking group
✗
Not a platform for illegal hacking, doxxing, or facilitating harm
✗
Not an ad platform — we run zero ads, ever
✗
Not a tracking operation — we do not collect, store, or sell visitor data
✗
Not a place for targeted harassment of individuals
█ On Privacy & Tracking
We do not track you.
No Google Analytics. No Facebook Pixel. No ad networks. No fingerprinting. No cookies beyond what Netlify requires for form submissions. No data sold to third parties. No surveillance capitalism of any kind.
A site that honors Snowden and the EFF while secretly tracking its visitors would be the most ironic thing on the internet. We're not doing that.
The only data we collect is what you voluntarily submit through our tip form or newsletter signup — and we use that solely to respond or send the newsletter.

█ On the Name
lulz-sec.com is to LulzSec what Silque Road is to Silk Road — a legal nod to a culturally significant name, operating entirely within the law. The hyphen is because lulzsec.com was taken. The name is the brand statement. The edginess is intentional. The legality is non-negotiable.
